We would love to help you celebrate your child’s special day! Hunky Dory is an amazing place to mark their milestones, creating lasting memories you can cherish forever. As parents ourselves, we’ve been in party-planning hell – the village hall, the food, the entertainment, the invitations, the party bags, the cake… so many things to remember! We can take care of everything for you if you need us to, all you have to do is turn up!
To give your child and their friends the all-star treatment they deserve, we offer exclusive use hire of Hunky Dory for your family, 30 little guests and their adults. Your birthday party session will feature an exclusive birthday-themed story and a dedicated party host to make everything run smoothly.

Party Package features:
- Exclusive use hire for up to 30 children and 26 adults
- Downloadable Party Invitations

- Standard party food including sandwiches, crisps, popcorn, cakes, crudites, jugs of squash and fruity ice lollies for dessert
- Candles for the cake if you’ve arranged for us to provide one
- Staff to dress the venue beforehand, serve the food and tidy the mess afterwards so you can sit back and relax!
- A free visit for the birthday child and one adult for another time.
Upgrades:
- Upgrade from the standard party food option to a pizza party- especially good for those post-school parties and colder weather when hot food is very welcome! The menu includes 1 slice of margherita pizza per guest, crudites, crisps, jugs of squash, fruity ice lollies for dessert for £45 on top of your party price
Additional options;
- Birthday cake. Either a cupcake tier with a small top cake for the “happy birthday” moment for or one large cake for £45. We have a variety of themes available or can create something bespoke for an additional cost. Just get in touch if you have an idea.
- Party favours. We can offer sweetie cones for each of your guests in a choice of colours for only £1.70 per cone.
- Adult food. Choose from savoury or sweet adult food options – or both if you think people will be hungry enough! Served in the café upstairs, designed to bring a little relaxation and chance for a catch-up with the older members of your party!
Savoury Adult party food – Cheese platter with 4 different cheeses, crackers, fresh baguettes, caramelised onion chutney, grapes and pickle with a selection of crisps with guacamole and salsa dips. Enough to serve 26 adults £45
Sweet Adult Party Food
Enjoy a traditional cream tea with scones, clotted cream, jam and strawberries. Enough to serve 26 adults £45
Breakfast Adult Party Food
If your party is the first session of the day, it might be nice to treat your adults to breakfast! A selection of breakfast pastries, fresh fruit salad and Greek yoghurt. Enough to serve up to 26 adults £45
Tap water is provided for adults as standard. Adults can purchase additional hot drinks separately or you can set up a tab on the day. Alternatively, order our tea and instant coffee urns for £12.50 each, with free refills if needed.

If you are having up to 20 children we can offer exclusive use hire for £295 after school and £350 for Weekend, Bank and School Holidays.
For up to 30 children party prices start from £330 for after school term-time afternoon sessions 3.45-5.15pm and £375 for two hour long Weekend, Bank and School Holiday parties.
Party Themes
Teddy Bear’s Picnic
If you come to Hunky Dory for your party today, you’re sure of a big surprise! Our village green is home to the secret teddy bear’s annual meet up at this party. Decorated with woodland accessories, the children have party tea with some furry friends and then play some traditional party games with our Play Facilitators. Perhaps the children will meet a very large teddy who wants to join the party, too! A big hit with our youngest guests.
Jungle Safari Party
Join us as we take a walk on the wild side! Visitors to Hunky Dory will be taken on a safari to spot their favourite animals or dinosaurs. We’ll clad the village green out in jungle colours, with vines, leaves and animals galore! After our birthday tea in the depths of the jungle we’ll have games with animal masks and fun accessories. This party is a must for any animal fans- why not come in animal fancy dress, too?!
