Elevating Children’s Role Play

Hunky Dory is an extraordinary play space for children and adults alike. We’ve created a stimulating, exciting environment for young children that differs from your usual role play centre. Our exceptionally crafted play village is jam-packed with immersive fun, allowing your child to be vets, firefighters, hairdressers, teachers, farmers and much more. We also bring songs, games and seasonal changes into the mix, elevating the play experience.

But the thing that truly sets Hunky Dory apart is our immersive experience concept. Crucially, our staff act as Play Facilitators, dressing as characters and acting out scenarios that takes children on a dramatic adventure! Our highly trained staff have backgrounds in child-related professions such as teaching and childcare and are incredibly skilled at encouraging even the shyest of children to take a leap into their imaginations. Our amazing play space is nestled in a beautiful 500-year-old Grade 2 listed building tucked away off the High Street in Alton, Hampshire. We have a fantastic, modern café serving artisan coffee, delicious cake and a variety of light bites and lunches. We pride ourselves on our level of comfort and cleanliness so that it is as much a treat to visit here as an adult as it is a child!
